A good day for Indian indices after last week fall.Nifty closed at 18014 after gaining 207 points (1.17 pct).Banknifty closed at 42630 after gaining 962 points(2.31 pct)All sectoral indices trade in the green except Nifty Pharma.Nifty PSU Bank surges as much as 7.6 percent, Union Bank top Midcap gainer, up 20 percent.SBI,Hindalco,Indusind bank and coal India were top gainers whereas cipla,Dr reddy,Divis lab and Nestle were on loosing side today.In both index we saw short covering today.Refer cover image for days OI stats
