A good green day for Indian indices.We saw heavy put writing supporting the upmove of Nifty ahead of tomorrow's weekly expiry.Nifty gained 112 points(.62 pct) and closed at 18165.Today all heavy weight banks were doing good due to which Banknifty gained 222 points and closed at 42458.Hindalco,TATA STEEL and LT were top gainners whereas TATAMOTORS,ADANIENT and HDFCLIFE were among top loosers. The initial public offering (IPO) of Dharni Capital Services Limited has opened today for subscribers and the public issue will remain open for bidding till 20th January 2023
