A clear bearish day for Indian indices.Nifty opened flat and fell to 18850 after that in last hours it recovered 60 points to close at 17914.Banknifty also fell today 568 points but defended the psychological level of 42000 and closed at 42014.Volatility index India vix increased by 5.5 pct.Nifty top gainers were TATA MOTORS,HINDALCO and APOLLO whereas top loosers today were ADANI ENT,BHARTI AIRTEL and EICHERMOTORS
