Today's Market update
A clear bearish day for Indian indices with volatility due to first weekly expiry of the year.Nifty closed at 17992 after a fall of 50 points but during the day it fell up to 17900 and recovered 100 points later.Banknifty was leading in bearishness and it dropped by 350 points and closed at 42600 levels.During the day it went upto 42300 level but recovered in last trading hour.CIPLA,BAJAJ AUTO and ITC were top gainers whereas BAJAJ FINANCE,BAJAJ FINSERV and ICICI BANK were top looser today in NIFTY
